Job Description

Position Overview: Under the direction of the Direct Ship Manager, the Warehouse Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, staging deliveries, packaging product in the yard, inspections and general duties in accordance with safety policies, procedures and governmental regulations.


• Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.

• Pull inventory and stage products utilizing forklift and other specified equipment.

• Load and offload trucks.

• Package product per customer requirements.

• Conduct cycle-counts.

• Daily inspections of yard and equipment and regular housekeeping.

• Count and assist in management of inventory.

• Maintain yard housekeeping, organization and layout.

• Maintain and environmentally clean work place.

• Operate all non-DOT equipment.

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends if needed

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• 1 year of forklift experience is required.

• 1 to 3 years of working in a similar chemical related environment is preferred.

• Proven safety record and stable work history.

• Utilize safety and environmental measures at all times.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check

• Must be able to withstand adverse weather conditions

• The employee will be working specified shifts and moving around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
