Job Description


The Production Supervisor will direct and oversee production employees to ensure that customer expectations and management requirements are met by monitoring production, quality and logistic team members.



  • Responsible to maintain and improve upon good housekeeping in all Manufacturing areas.

  • Reports results of Production results with updated summaries in the daily Production Meeting.

  • Interface with Materials Department, Engineering, Project Management to exceed company goals.

  • Assign work schedules to keep utilization of direct labor subordinates >90%.

  • Ensures operation of equipment by checking for repairs, preventive maintenance, and evaluating new equipment.

  • Research and implement new techniques and machining practices to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

  • Enforce and supervise HSE and quality plans in accordance with Company policies.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

  • Conduct performance appraisals and recommend required discipline, job and/or salary actions.

  • Other miscellaneous duties and requirements as defined by management.

  • Working knowledge of chemical blending, batch formulation, ERP program (SAP, Microsoft AX, etc.), and logistics/warehouse functions.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year College or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Language: English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, Work Instructions and correspondence.

  • Good working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Office.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Supply Chain & Logistics with incoming and outgoing products.

Physical Demands:

Administrative tasks will be done at a computer desk workstation. Trips throughout the facility will be required to meet with other departments and attend meetings. There will heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) of parts, and working with tools as required by the work being performed in Production.

Work Environment:

Production Shop (80%) and Office (20%) environment.
