Job Description

Position Overview:  The primary function of this position is to support the administrative functions of the plant productions/operations groups in a timely manner. This role will include the checking of paperwork, entering of data into an Enterprise Resource Planning-Microsoft Dynamic AX (ERP) system, analytical functions, and inventory duties within the plant. This position must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. We are a fast-paced, safety focused, continuous improvement based company.

Responsibilities:
  • Entry of information into a product tracking logs.
  • Entry of data from paperwork to ERP system.
  • Creation of paperwork from ERP system.
  • Monitor open finished goods orders.
  • Order raw materials for production.
  • Check accuracy of ERP entered information against physical paperwork.
  • Support operations/corporate information requests.
  • Interface with outside suppliers, truck drivers, dispatchers, etc. in a professional manner.
  • Support and participate in physical inventory counts (cyclical, monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Reconcile counts and rolling warehouses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
  • 1 or more years of experience with the administrative handling of inventory functions (ordering, cycle counts, etc.)  is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  2 year degree or higher preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience with plant operations is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Excel, is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow directions and complete work in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to be available for rotating on-call schedule during evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to comply with company and plant specific safety standards.
